Abstract: The term AI-Native is used to indicate that AI is incorporated into major functionality from the very beginning of the 6G design and development cycle. Such an AI-Native approach in 6G would allow the wireless technology to evolve at a faster pace and provide better performance. AI needs to be entrenched in the design of radio layers with interfacing to computing and data frameworks. These interactions need to be enabled with a strong emphasis on security and privacy. AI-Native networks need to be fully trusted by people, businesses, and governments to be resilient, secure, privacy preserving, safe, reliable, and available under all circumstances.
