PASSIONATE presented by Hanna Bogucka at National Science Centre, Poland

We are delighted to announce that the PASSIONATE project has been presented at the National Science Centre of Poland by Prof. Hanna Bogucka. From the facilities of Poznan University of Technology (PUT) in Poznan, Prof. Hanna Bogucka explains the main objectives of the project.

With the growing need for full integration and interoperability of satellite, aerial, and terrestrial network elements (referred to as 3D network), the evolution of mobile communications requires the combination of several innovative and complementary advances in the physical layer (PHY), medium access control (MAC), and radio resource management (RRM). These elements can be optimized through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

Mobile communication has changed and will continue to change our lives,” and for this reason, the work carried out in PASSIONATE is essential to meet the demanding challenges that future networks will face.
